TOPIC OF DISCUSSION

"Using Podcasting in Teaching"

There is a growing trend in higher education to engage students using a variety of methods. Paul Calleja has started using podcasts as a way to engage and interact with students. Calleja will lead this workshop on using podcasting in teaching.  He will discuss how and why he uses podcasts, as well as general tips he discovered in creating his podcasts for students.

We will also have a Friday follow-up session called “Caffeinate Your Course” in Mullins 289 from Noon to 3:00 p.m. where we will assist interested faculty members in taking the first step in implementing the topic discussed.

Dr. Paul Calleja Clinical Professor,  Assistant Department Head, and Graduate Coordinator for the Department of Health, Human Performance, & Recreation in the College of Education and Health Professions
