Lilly Conferences: Evidence Based Teaching and Learning
The Lilly Conference is described as a “collaborative community of scholars sharing, discussing, critiquing and reflecting upon improving teaching and learning” and that is exactly what one encounters during the 3-day session: a group of like-minded folk who are truly interested in becoming better teachers. Unlike other conferences where attendees are often expected to just “sit and listen”, Lilly is different with most of the break-out sessions requiring some level of participation so that one leaves not only with new materials that can be implemented immediately into the classroom but also hands-on experience in how to use them.
The Teaching Professor Conference is the place for educators who are passionate about the art and science of teaching. It’s an exhilarating three-day event focused on the latest research-based, classroom-tested best practices to enhance your knowledge and drive ever-better outcomes for the students you teach.
