Archived Presentations
Access presentations that the Teaching and Faculty Support Center has shared with faculty in the past. These presentations cover a wide variety of topics to support teaching excellence and student success in the classroom. These presentations are archived through ScholarWorks@UARK, the university's institutional repository.
Peer Mentoring Circles
The Office of Faculty Affairs has developed the Peer Mentoring Circles program to help faculty receive mentorship outside of their home department. This program fosters an environment where faculty can engage in honest and open dialogue about challenges, successes, and issues they've experienced. This program adds an additional layer of support for pre-tenure, tenured, and non-tenure track faculty.
Peer Observation of Teaching
Peer observation of teaching helps instructors improve their teaching through constructive feedback and reflection. By engaging with colleagues in a confidential and supportive setting, faculty gain new perspectives, refine their practices, and contribute to a community focused on teaching excellence. Learn how faculty can schedule peer observation in their classroom.
Teaching and Technology
Teaching Innovation and Pedagogical Support (TIPS) provides faculty with workshops, articles, guides and technology support related to Blackboard, technology and other tools used in the online classroom and in person. TIPS was developed in partnership between the TFSC, Information Technology Services and Global Campus to provide academic technology support to faculty. TIPS promotes collaboration across campus, faculty development and student success. Read more about TIPS and how faculty can use the latest technology in their teaching.
